Yes, it is true. I am freakishly short in the Netherlands. That's why I get the comment from guys "Wow, you're beautiful....but you're short." Here's a shout out to my Grandma Rosie for passing down the vertically challenged genes to me! :)
honey, EVERY non-dutchie is short here! even my husband, adam, who normally stands out of a crowd at a respectable 6 feet tall, is shadowed by even the most average of dutch women. it's scary.
isn't it strange to be "exotic" here? seriously. that's just weird.
okay, lady, it's time for a new post. jenna tells us that you're dating someone new and that you're teaching now? can you give us an update on that and send us a new post now? get on it, girl! the jet lag is over! loveyoubye, amber
I recently packed three suitcases and left everything familiar to me in Texas to come and have new adventures in the Netherlands. It has definitely been quite the adventure so far....hope you enjoy the blog!

Wow! I had no idea people were that tall over there! And I always thought being short was a good thing- you get to be the cute ultra-feminine one!
Hey sis, that's what those 6-inch, patent leather lace ups are for. :-)
It could be worse - consider being a guy at your height. Makes you appreciate your veej, huh?
